U12 Girls Shine at Season Opener in Edenderry

The U12 Girls got their new season off to a flying start with a fantastic showing at an away blitz in Edenderry. The Mini Heifers were out in force, with 19 enthusiastic players taking part in matches against teams from Midland Warriors, Tullamore, Birr, and hosts Edenderry.

For many of the girls, it was their first taste of competitive rugby, but they rose to the challenge brilliantly. Despite the pressure of their Mini-Test debuts, the newcomers were unfazed, showing grit and determination throughout each game. The team's performance improved with every match, as they grew in strength, confidence, and teamwork.

Coaches were full of praise for the entire squad, highlighting their effort and attitude. The players can be immensely proud of themselves, as they have set a strong foundation for what promises to be an exciting and fun-filled season ahead!
