Mullingar U16 Girls Show Grit and Determination in Challenging Weekend

The Mullingar U16 girls faced a tough test this weekend, taking on strong opposition in Arklow and Drogheda. Despite the challenges, the girls displayed resilience and determination, making the club proud.

In Arklow, the game started with Mullingar trailing by 14 points within the first 10 minutes. Unfortunately, multiple injuries added to the challenge. However, the team dug deep in the second half, producing an impressive performance. Meghan and Ciara were jointly named Players of the Match for their tireless efforts and determination.

In Drogheda, the Blues faced a far larger and more physical team. Injuries again played a significant role, but the girls showed tremendous grit and never let their heads drop. Beth earned Player of the Match honors for her fearless tackling and strong ball carries throughout the game.

After the matches, both teams visited the Aviva Stadium for some well-deserved fun, representing Mullingar Rugby Club with pride.

Next weekend promises more tough fixtures, but the U16 girls are ready to build on their experiences and return even stronger.
