Everybody here is named alongside the club in a published squad list or a newspaper report — the IRFU and Leinster both print a player’s club beside their name, which is what makes this checkable rather than remembered. Being from Mullingar is not the same as having played for the club, so anyone whose link to it could not be sourced has been left off.
The record thins out badly before about 2010. The club has been going since 1925 and it is very unlikely nobody was called up in the first eighty years — but that is not written down anywhere a search can reach. If you know of someone missing, the club would like to hear it.

Took up rugby at eleven with Mullingar RFC, joined the Leinster academy for 2016/17 and made 28 senior appearances for the province between 2017 and 2022. Capped by Ireland Under-20 in the 2016 Six Nations and the 2016 World Rugby Under-20 Championship; forced to retire by injury in 2022.

Born in Mullingar in 1992 and played in Mullingar RFC’s underage ranks before Clongowes Wood College, which he captained to the 2011 Leinster Schools Senior Cup. Three years in the Leinster academy, capped by Ireland at Under-20, a loan spell at Connacht, then more than seventy games for London Irish before injury ended his career in 2020.

Captained Ireland Under-18 Clubs against Italy Under-18s in Rome on 5 November 2022, a 43–10 win; the team sheet lists him as “7. Jack Boyan (Mullingar RFC/Leinster) (capt)”. He had won the Under-18 Clubs interprovincial title with Leinster two months earlier.

A former Loreto College Mullingar student who came through at Mullingar RFC and keeps dual status with the club while playing All-Ireland League rugby for Railway Union. She has represented Ireland on the World Rugby Sevens Series, including the run to the Seville final in January 2022, and was named in the Ireland squad for the 2025 Six Nations as one of eight uncapped players. Sources disagree on her position — the Six Nations profile lists inside centre, RugbyPass lists hooker.

Included in the Ireland Women’s Under-20 squad to face England in Parma on 4 July 2024, again as Mullingar RFC/Leinster.

Listed as “22. Ellie O’Sullivan Sexton (Mullingar RFC/Leinster)” in the Ireland Women’s Under-20 squad to play England in Parma on 4 July 2024. She went on to the Ireland Under-21 side for the 2026 Six Nations series, starting at full-back against England on 30 April 2026, by then playing her club rugby with Old Belvedere.

In August 2026, aged eighteen and after a summer training with the Leinster senior squad, she was named on the Connacht senior women’s bench against Leinster at Energia Park. Her senior province is Connacht, not Leinster.
